Battery down to One Bar

So again it's just once this week, but two different bentos. With extra love put in while preparing, to make up for the reduction.

Only ONE this week...

But a nice one, at least. Some lovely Japanese preserved veg much like the Chinese 梅菜 (mei2 cai4) that I found at the Kyushuu Fair under the Chinmi section. I didn't expect Takoyaki to like it but she does.

I'm taking the rest of the week off.

Bento Mojo draining away...

This week was rather low for me. I'm feeling very limited and restrained in cooking, much less bento, but this is pretty much my own psychological problem. I feel as though I'm wandering around in the wilderness and will never be able to cross the Jordan river and into the promised land (my new home).

What a good thing we had the Labour Day PH!
